Mirror Milling Star is a digital machining solution for high-speed milling, drilling, and trimming of 3D-shaped aluminum or composite material aircraft panels. The surface scanning system allows the machining to adapt to the actual shape of the panel, and the symmetrically arranged dual 6-axis heads achieve an unparalleled level of precision by controlling the symmetry and the thickness of pocket areas in response to their complexity and variety. MMS machining does not involve the use, discharge, or treatment of chemical products like traditional chemical milling, and it also enables the recycling of chips and excess raw materials. Additionally, the power required during machining is significantly reduced.
